UCLA head coach Jim Mora says linebacker Myles Jack will continue to be used on offense this fall.

“He’s gonna touch the ball on offense,” Mora said Monday. “Don’t know how many times, but he’ll touch it.”

Jack became a bit of a household name for many college football fans last season more because of his production and contributions on offense rather than his defense. Jack was fourth on the team in rushing with 267 yards on 38 rushing attempts, but he muscled in seven touchdowns on the ground, second only to quarterback Brett Hundley’s 11 touchdown runs. Despite being a freshman, Jack was among the leaders on defense as well. By the end of the 2013 season Jack racked up 76 tackles, 10 more than one of the Pac-12′s best linebackers,UCLA’s Anthony Barr.
