"Two days after taking on Giants fans for booing him during his lackluster performance in Sunday's win over the Dolphins, Brandon Jacobs had calmed down yesterday. Sort of.

But anyone waiting for the unhappy running back to apologize for his comments is still waiting.

"As long as the players I'm playing [with], my teammates, my brothers [understand], that's what I care about. I don't care if I get booed," he said. "They could boo me every day. But make sure you're booing when I'm scoring touchdowns as well. You're gonna see a change."

Jacobs made those comments during an appearance at Essence School in Brooklyn as part of the NFL's "Play 60" campaign, which encourages children to exercise for at least an hour a day. He was accompanied by his wife, Kim, who seemed to have a better handle on how her husband should have reacted to Sunday's booing."
