The Cowboys have won two straight, are now 7-5 on the season, and lead the NFC East.
Bad news: The Eagles, on a four-game winning streak, are also 7-5, and the two teams meet in the regular-season finale in a matchup that not only could decide the NFC East, but who advances to the playoffs.

So it with with measured optimism that Dallas owner and general manager Jerry Jones looks ahead to the final month of the season.

“We've always known that what they remember is what you do in December,” Jones told 105.3 The Fan.

This is where we point out that the Cowboys haven't been particularly impressive in December. Two years ago, they lost three of their final four regular-season contests and watched the Giants backdoor their way into the playoffs -- and their second Super Bowl title in five years.

In 2012, the Cowboys lost a Week 17 game to the Redskins, who wound up winning the division and hosting a playoff game.

Oh, and there's this: Tony Romo sports an 11-15 record in December.
