"Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wouldn't get into prioritizing the team's off-season needs Monday -- the first day of Senior Bowl practices -- because he said it would create a competitive disadvantage for them in the draft and free agency.
Jones did say, however, that by releasing five offensive players before last season, the Cowboys have put themselves in a competitive position this off-season to add players via free agency.
Though the Cowboys' salary-cap number is always a moving target, the team could have about $20 million available to spend when free agency begins in March."
