"Brandon Jennings is on target to return Saturday night against New Jersey, Bucks coach Scott Skiles said before Friday's game against Toronto.
Jennings, who underwent surgery on a broken left foot on Dec. 20, warmed up on the Air Canada Centre floor before the Bucks-Raptors game.
He has been sidelined for 19 games, including Friday, since being injured.
"It will probably be very limited minutes (Saturday), but hopefully we can get him out there and play a little bit," Skiles said.
John Salmons (strained right hip) and Drew Gooden (left foot plantar fasciitis) did not make the trip to Toronto.
Skiles said Salmons stayed behind to get treatment on the hip. If he's not available Saturday, the guard could possibly play on the Bucks' three-game trip that starts Monday night against the Clippers in Los Angeles.
Skiles said he was wary of the Raptors' transition game."
