Jennings' foot pain is a worry in Bucks' loss

"A bad night for the Milwaukee Bucks turned a bit more ominous with concerns about point guard Brandon Jennings' sore left foot.

Jennings tried to play through the pain Saturday night but didn't have his usual burst. And his teammates looked sluggish at the finish as the Utah Jazz went on a late run to clinch a 95-86 victory at the Bradley Center.

Utah point guard Deron Williams capably directed the Jazz as it bounced back from a 29-point loss at New Orleans on Friday night.

And the frontcourt trio of Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap and Andrei Kirilenko combined for 27 rebounds - each with nine - as the Jazz battered the Bucks on the boards by a 46-31 margin.

Jennings said he was expecting to have tests on his left foot, which he injured when he fell awkwardly in the first half against San Antonio on Wednesday night.

But he returned for the second half against the Spurs and played 30 minutes Saturday. Jennings has started in every game since the Bucks selected him with the 10th pick in the 2009 draft, a total of 107 consecutive regular-season games and seven playoff games.

"At first it was my knee and it went down to my ankle, but right now I don't know what the real problem is, so I'm not going to talk about it too much," Jennings said. "I wanted to give it a go just to see what it felt like.

"But not a lot of really good lateral movement for me. I couldn't really come off the screens and do what I want to do because of the foot."

Jennings finished with six points and four assists and also had to worry about defending Williams, the Jazz all-star and former University of Illinois standout."
