"Jason Terry did not make the Mavericks' road trip to Oklahoma City after becoming ill at practice Monday and being taken from American Airlines Center to see the team doctor.

It was not known what Terry's ailment was, but several team officials said the veteran guard saw the doctor and was resting comfortably at his house when the team left Monday afternoon for their second and final preseason game.

Terry apparently wasn't feeling well before practice and did not put in any time on the court. He is not expected to rejoin the team in Oklahoma. The hope is that he will be fully recovered for the regular season opener Christmas Day."
