Jason Taylor passes concussion tests, Rex Ryan expects him to be 'full-go' for Friday's practice

"Jason Taylor is good to go. The veteran linebacker passed the battery of concussion tests required by the NFL to return to practice and was in pads Thursday. He said he is excited to play in his first AFC Championship Game Sunday in his hometown of Pittsburgh, but was not so enthusiastic about talking about the injury.

"I took a hit in he second half (Sunday), but I'm good," Taylor said. "I went through the whole battery of tests, which was very extensive, and they helped me out (Wednesday), when I felt fine. (Thursday) I got a chance to go practice. So everything's good."

Taylor began to exhibit symptoms of a concussion Sunday night and was cleared by doctors and the NFL's ImPACT testing, computerized neurocognitive assessment tools and services, on Wednesday and did not practice. Thursday he was back in pads and uniform, but was limited. Jets coach Rex Ryan said he expects Taylor to be "full-go," Friday.

"I'm not wary about it. I understand it's a hot-button issue and this is not the platform for me to sit here and talk about it," Taylor said. "Personally, my situation was very minimal and I am just fine. I'm great.""
