Braves right fielder Jason Heyward left this afternoon’s game what the team is calling lower back soreness.

Heyward has played 103 of the Braves’ first 106 games, hitting .260 with nine homers, 12 steals, and a .729 OPS, including a career-low .379 slugging percentage.

He was replaced in right field by Ryan Doumit, but the Braves would almost surely turn elsewhere if a longer-term fill in was needed.
