Jason Campbell news 'a huge relief'

"Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell is undergoing concussion tests to determine his availability for next weekend's preseason game against New Orleans, and it sounds like they're going well.

Coach Hue Jackson said Sunday that Campbell might practice today. "It's a huge relief," Jackson said. "Anytime a guy goes out and needs to be checked, you want to make sure that the next day that everything is going to be OK. He's going to be well."

Campbell was knocked out of Saturday's 17-3 preseason loss to the 49ers when he was kneed in the head by linebacker Ahmad Brooks, who was pursuing a loose ball.

That wasn't the play Campbell was most concerned with after the game. He was more worried about an earlier play, on which he rolled to his left on 1st-and-goal from the 49ers' 2-yard line 2:24 into the second quarter.

The play was designed as a run-first option play. Campbell didn't get a good look at tight end Kevin Boss, who was open in the back of the end zone, so instead of throwing to him, Campbell ran to the left sideline in search of an opening. He was tackled at the 3 by Patrick Willis."
