"Jason Campbell was asked it felt like a dream, going from a career-worst 10.7 passer rating last week against the 49ers to a career-best 127.9 in Sunday's 59-14 romp over the Broncos.
"It must have been a real good dream, because I am still having it," he said at the interview podium.
Campbell was told by coach Tom Cable to let it loose and got a number of pep talks from offensive coordinator Hue Jackson. Jackson even called Campbell on Friday night to hammer home the message.
"He said, 'J, in order for this team to go where we want to go, you need to be great,' " Campbell said. " 'Not just good, but great. But just play the game - don't worry about being perfect. Sometimes you feel like you've gotta be perfect on every throw.
" 'Just let all that go and play the game. Let the game come to you and make some throws. Make some throws, miss some throws but don't feel like you have to be perfect.' ""
