"Antawn Jamison grabbed at his left knee during the first half before hobbling to the locker room. Anthony Parker emerged after halftime with a bag of ice draped over his right hand.
In a preseason when the Cavaliers have yet to put their starting five on the floor together at one time, that idea took a step back in Thursday's 106-80 victory over the San Antonio Spurs at the University of Pittsburgh.
Neither injury is considered serious, but both players will be re-evaluated today. Jamison sprained his left knee — the same knee that forced him out of camp earlier this month with tendinitis — in the second quarter, when a player dove into him reaching for a loose ball.
Parker sprained his right ring and middle fingers when he banged his hand on a player's shoe, but did not believe either finger was dislocated. He departed for the bus ride home with his middle finger wrapped in black tape.
''It's part of the game,'' Cavs coach Byron Scott said. ''We'll deal with it. Neither one is serious enough to where they'll miss the opening night. Hopefully they're both quick healers and they'll be back at practice before the last game or two of the preseason.''"
