Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is close to a month away from playing for the national title, but he already has a prestigious trophy.

At 19 years and 342 days old, Winston became the youngest Heisman Trophy winner when he was named college football's most outstanding player Saturday night in New York.

He is the second straight freshman to win the Heisman after Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel last season.

Winston set freshman records by passing for 3,820 yards and 38 touchdowns while leading No. 1 Florida State into the VIZIO BCS National Championship.
