Jameis Winston's prowess on the football field is well documented, what with the Heisman Trophy and national championship and all.

But he's a pretty good baseball player, too.

How good? Well, Baseball America, perhaps the most respected national voice on college baseball, ranks the Florida State star as a preseason third team All-American.

Winston pitches and plays outfield for the Seminoles. In 2013, he hit .235/.377/.345 in 41 games while compiling a 3.00 ERA in 27 innings as a reliever. Winston, who was drafted by the Texas Rangers out of high school in 2012, aspires to be a two-sport star in the mold of Bo Jackson and former Seminole Deion Sanders.
