"Magic PG Jameer Nelson returned to practice Tuesday after missing the past three games with a stomach virus that crippled the team.

"Jameer practiced. Everything is fine," coach Stan Van Gundy said. "He looked good."

Nelson missed games last week on the road against the Detroit Pistons and the Milwaukee Bucks, and Monday's night's home game against the Atlanta Hawks.

Van Gundy said that Nelson isn't expected to have any problems playing on the four-game trip out West, which begins Thursday night in Portland, Ore.

Except for F Ryan Anderson, all the players who have been on the Magic's active roster practiced. Anderson, fighting a stomach virus and a sprained foot, is not scheduled to make the trip.

C Dwight Howard, SF Mickael Pietrus and SG J.J. Redick returned to play in Monday night's loss to the Atlanta Hawks. They showed no aftereffects of the stomach bug and also participated in the nearly two-hour practice."
