The city of Orlando was up in arms about Dwight Howard's comments to Esquire Magazine on Monday, when Howard said "there's more you can do in a bigger place" and wondered if he's done all he can with the Magic.

But one of the people closest to Howard in Orlando, Magic co-captain Jameer Nelson, doesn't believe the controversial comments mean Howard is any more likely to leave when he becomes a free agent in 2012.

"I think it was blown out of proportion," Nelson said at a charity event for Gametyme Foundation. "I mean, whatever the guy says right now people are going toe it and run with it."
