Cardinals starting pitcher Jaime Garcia is coming off a season that ended with him having surgery in May to repair a torn rotator cuff and labrum in his left shoulder. Monday, he had an MRI in St. Louis on his left shoulder and now he's headed to see the esteemed Dr. James Andrews Wednesday to have said shoulder examined.

And though hearing of visits to Dr. Andrews generally feels like a reason to say something along the lines of "uh oh," Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak isn't ready to do so just yet.

"Rather than say one thing today and change tomorrow, I'd rather get both reports and then go from there and decide after we have time to also meet with Jaime and decide what the next step is," Mozeliak said ( "Based on the MRI and everything, we feel good.
