To fill the roster spot, they will promote linebacker Mike Lockley, an undrafted rookie out of Florida Atlantic. Lockley was placed on the practice squad at the start of the season.

You'll remember Lockley made headlines in August because he was fined $20,000 for a hit on Patriots receiver Taylor Price in the preseason. He got some relief on that fine, which was cut in half after the NFL deemed it excessive."
