Neither McClendon or McCoy played a regular season game with the Jaguars before they were released on Saturday.

Offensive lineman Jacques McClendon and defensive end Chris McCoy lasted just one game with the Jaguars as both were waived on Saturday to make room for wide receiver Jeremy Ebert and cornerback Marcus Burley on the active roster the team announced.

Both Ebert and Burley spent time with the Jaguars during preseason but were released and added to the practice squad. With injuries at wide receiver and cornerback they both may have been added to the 53-man roster out of necessity prior to Sunday's Week 2 game against the Oakland Raiders.
