"If there is any good time to suffer an injury that needs surgery, Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny found it.
Posluszny underwent surgery to repair a partially torn labrum in his left shoulder on Jan. 11. The injury will likely keep him out until training camp, according to a source, but Posluszny has not yet met with doctors about a timetable or his recovery. He anticipates being 100 percent healthy in plenty of time for the 2012 season to begin.
"I haven't talked to coach Mularkey or [general manager] Gene Smith about where they want me to be and when," Posluszny said in a telephone interview. "This is not a major deal at all. … From what the doctors told me, this is something they deal with all the time. It was something that was very basic. It wasn't severe or difficult to deal with.""
