Many hockey fans in the city would love to see Jaromir Jagr in the silks of the Calgary Flames.

Perhaps they’ll get their wish … soon.

TSN’s NHL analyst Pierre LeBrun tweeted Sunday night that the Calgary club is in talks with the veteran who’s trying to skate in his 24th NHL season.

“Hearing that the Calgary Flames and Jaromir Jagr’s camp are talking tonight. No certainty it happens but it’s very possible,” LeBrun tweeted.

Jagr is without a team — and a contract — so far this season after playing all 82 regular-season games with the Florida Panthers during the 2016-17 campaign. He potted 16 goals and added 30 assists for 46 points in his second and final year with the Panthers.
