"Two new names cropped up Wednesday on the Giants injury list: Running back Brandon Jacobs and linebacker Michael Boley each came out of the victory over the Cardinals in Arizona with a swollen knee.

Neither player practiced Wednesday, but coach Tom Coughlin said both are scheduled to work Thursday.

"Going to be a day-to-day thing,'' Coughlin said."
