"Speaking to local reporters for the first time since his controversial comments to the NFL Network, Eagles Pro Bowl wideout DeSean Jackson said Friday that he's not looking back.

"I'm just at the point now where I just want to put everything behind myself and look forward to helping my teammates and the organization clean up all the mess from the beginning of the season," he said.

Jackson made similar comments Monday, a day after he was benched by coach Andy Reid for missing a team meeting. At the time, he said they had reached an understanding and Jackson apologized to teammates during a team meeting.

Then Jackson sat down for an interview with Michael Irvin and suggested that he was treated unfairly by Reid.

Jackson was asked Friday if he needed to prove himself again to his teammates and coaches."
