Late last April, then-Spurs starting forward Richard Jefferson played nary a minute in the second half of Game 6 of the first-round playoff series against the Memphis Grizzlies that sent the No. 1-seeded Spurs to an early vacation.

In the second half of Sunday's Game 1 of the first-round series against the Utah Jazz at the AT&T Center, the player the Spurs acquired when they traded Jefferson to the Golden State Warriors scored seven points, grabbed two rebounds and had two assists in a stretch of 13 minutes, 44 seconds that contributed heavily to a 106-91 Spurs victory.

Stephen Jackson finished with 14 points, four rebounds and solid defensive work on Utah's Paul Millsap.
