"The Blue Jackets have agreed to terms with forward Alexandre Giroux on a one-year, two way contract. Giroux, 30, is a prolific minor-league scorer who will see significant ice time with Springfield of the AHL.

The deal will pay Giroux $325,000 at the AHL level, and $825,000 in the NHL."
