Coming into this season, we all knew the plan with Tuukka Rask: He was going to get more playing time.


What we didn't know, back when Bruins coach Claude Julien was rolling out the pucks on the first day of training camp, was what Rask would do with that time.

Would he show some of the potential that was on display during the 2009-10 Stanley Cup playoffs? Or, having sat around for most of last season as Tim Thomas submitted a history-making campaign that propelled the Bruins all the way to a rolling rally, would he dissolve into your basic, standard-issue, garden-variety No. 2 goaltender?
