Saturday was a busy day of paperwork for the New York Islanders. In the evening they released news of defenseman Ryan Pulock and center Alan Quine agreeing to terms on three-year entry level contracts financial terms not disclosed. That news came after the afternoon assignment of players to AHL Bridgeport and ECHL Stockton.

Both Pulock and Quine selected in the entry draft this past summer remain in camp for Sunday's split squad games against the Ottawa Senators. Quine's contract terms will kick in immediately; Pulock will get a signing bonus but when he's returned to junior the other terms of his contract will "slide" forward (and slightly lower his cap hit) for at least another year.
