"The Islanders suffered another goaltending injury when Al Montoya was diagnosed with a concussion following a collision during the shootout win over the Jets on Tuesday night.

Montoya had established himself as the team's No. 1 goaltender with solid play following injuries to Rick DiPietro and Evgeni Nabokov. Nabokov, who had not played since Nov. 17, replaced Montoya and did not allow a goal in the 3-2 victory. He is expected to start in goal against the Rangers on Thursday night at the Garden."
