The tip off time for the Iona College men's basketball team's contest vs. Rider on Sunday (Mar. 2) has been moved to 3:00 pm to accommodate the Gaels' senior day presentation prior to the game.

Rider and Iona square off in the second half of a doubleheader with Iona's women's squad which takes on Marist at noon at the Hynes Center.

Iona will honor its six seniors including Sean Armand, Tre Bowman, Kristian Duravcevic, DaShawn Gomez, Mike Poole and manager Jose Piguave prior to tipoff at 3:00 pm. The women's program is also celebrating senior day prior to its tipoff when they recognize Haley D'Angelo, Shonice Hawkins and Sabrina Jeridore.

Both the men's and women's programs sit in first place in the MAAC standings and have a magic number of one to secure the No. 1 seed in next weekend's MAAC Championship in Springfield, MA. Having already clinched a tie for the MAAC Regular Season Championship, the men's team needs a win or a Quinnipiac loss in its next to contest to be the top seed. In the event of a tie, the Bobcats would hold the tiebreaker by virtue of its 2-0 mark vs. Manhattan. The women's team is seeking its first ever regular season title and need a win or a Marist loss to be the champions
