"By all accounts, Auburn long snapper Josh Harris is a super-nice guy. He's polite. He speaks clearly. He plans to marry his girlfriend, his father is an attorney and he will pursue a law degree if he can't make an NFL roster.
And he likely has no chance to be drafted by the Vikings, who have Cullen Loeffler as their long snapper.
But that didn't stop the Vikings from ushering Harris into the team's evaluation gantlet for a 17-minute, 48-question interview with general manager Rick Spielman, followed by a meeting with special-teams coordinator Mike Priefer and possibly a trip to the whiteboard for an X's and O's quiz.
Spielman allowed four Twin Cities reporters to observe Spielman's interview with Harris, likely one of the most squeaky-clean players of the 100 of so subjects at this week's Senior Bowl. "
