"The Indians signed two more free agents Friday to minor-league contracts with invitations to big-league training camp: former Colorado Rockies outfielder Ryan Spilborghs and infielder Gregorio Petit.

Spilborghs' 2011 season ended in early August because of plantar fasciitis in his right foot. Before the injury sidelined him, he batted .210 with three home runs and 22 RBI in 200 at-bats, playing all three outfield spots."
