Tom Ince has hinted that he could remain at Crystal Palace beyond this season – and has taken a swipe at Blackpool chairman Karl Oyston.

The Tangerines winger joined the Eagles on loan at the end of the transfer window and has almost certainly played his last game for his parent club.

Ince, whose dad, Paul, was sacked by Blackpool last month, spoke to a number of clubs in January before opting for a switch to South London.

And the England Under 21 star says his long-term future could yet lie at Selhurst Park after thanking chairman Steve Parish for his role in getting the deal done.

‘Steve Parish was great and worked ever so hard to get the deal over the line,’ Ince told the Croydon Advertiser.

‘The Blackpool chairman is not the easiest guy to work with and Steve worked his magic. I am thankful for that.

‘As a young player, you always want to play at the top level but my dad and I sat down, and it’s all about timing and planning.
