An impaired driving charge against Toronto Raptors centre Jonas Valanciunas has been dropped, according to CP24.

Valanciunas was arrested in April in Wasaga Beach, Ont., just prior to the start of the Raptors' first round playoff series against the Brooklyn Nets and charged with having more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.

At the time, Valanciunas said in a release that he apologized to the organization, his teammates, family and fans, adding that he regretted "any negativity this incident has brought upon them."
