The time was finally right for Andre Iguodala, who in his eighth NBA season will be making his first All-Star Game appearance.

"This league is full of guys who can be an All-Star, full of guys who can be superstars, but for whatever reason the timing may not work out," Iguodala said Friday before the Sixers fell, 78-77, in the final seconds to the Clippers. "I'm just happy that it happened. I look forward to it. Like I texted coach last night after he congratulated me – we've got eight games, and I just want to get some wins going into the break to enjoy it."
