"Ian Kinsler knows his history, which has led many media types to assume that he will be injured at some point this season.

He didn't even get out of spring training last year before suffering an ankle injury that would cost him all but one game in April.

But the two-time All-Star considers that injury — suffered during a fall on wet grass — and others in his career to be freak occurrences.

Kinsler will do his part to stay on the field, but he won't change the aggressive way in which he plays.
