Hull City have signed one of non-league football’s most wanted strikers.

Folkestone striker Johan Ter Horst has signed a three-year deal after completing a medical on Monday morning.

The 18-year-old will stay with Folkestone for the rest of this season and will join Steve Bruce’s side full-time during pre-season.

Ter Horst, who is in his first full season in senior football, has already scored 21 goals for Folkestone.

He has been pursued by several clubs over the last three months and Bruce has seen off competition from Aston Villa and Charlton Athletic in particular.
