PSG manager Laurent Blanc has targeted the France international as one of his key building blocks at the end of the current campaign and he is also interested in adding Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba to an impressive squad.

The French giants flexed their financial muscles last week when they signed Yohyan Cabaye from Newcastle for around £20m and the Daily Express reports they are optimistic of landing Lloris.

The Tottenham No.1 hinted he could leave White Hart Lane if Tim Sherwood’s team does not finish in the top four in the Premier League when he said: ‘The objective is to reach the Champions League.

‘After that, it’s to close the gap on the biggest teams in the league. Without Champions League football? I’ve not thought about it. I must weigh things up at the end of the season.’

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi wants to give the side more of a domestic flavour and he said: ‘Cabaye is French and he is important for us to recruit French players at PSG to win the French championship again.’
