Hue Jackson says McFadden isn't out for season

"Phil Simms said on the CBS telecast of the game that injured Oakland running back Darren McFadden has a Lisfranc injury to his right foot, and not a mid-foot sprain, and could be out for the year.

Raiders head coach Hue Jackson said that there has been no change in McFadden's diagnosis.

No," Jackson said. "And it's not a season-ender. I mean, that's what we said - it's a sprained foot, Lisfranc, whatever you want to call it. Basically the same thing. I think Darren will be back before the season's over. And when we get him back, we'll get him back."

A Lisfranc injury affects a joint in the center of the foot, and is what ended Houston quarterback Matt Schaub's season. McFadden has not played since being injured on the Raiders' first series against Kansas City on Oct. 23."
