A professor in Houston isn’t thrilled about the Astros’ upcoming World Series parade, which is shutting down classes at his or her university.

We get it. Not everyone loves baseball. That’s a given.

But when the Astros won the World Series this week, it was bigger than sports. They brought something special to a huge group of people who recently suffered through one of the worst hurricanes this nation has ever experienced.

That’s why a Houston-based businessman wasn’t upset about paying out more than $10 million to people who bought from him before the World Series.
