Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren, speaking to reporters at Ed Snider's induction in the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday night, said that Claude Giroux's problems right now don't appear to be a concussion but "whiplash."
Giroux was accidentally kneed in the back of the head by teammate Wayne Simmonds during Saturday's game against Tampa Bay.
The Flyers center will not play in Washington on Tuesday.
