How did Jets defensive end Sheldon Richardson spend his offseason?

Cutting weight, basically.

"Just keeping my weight down, really," Richardson said Wednesday, after the Jets wrapped up their second day of organized team activities. "Body wasn't banged up too much, as much as last year."

Richardson acknowledged his weight had crept up to about 320 pounds last season, when he still had a solid year as a D-end and sometime-stand-up outside linebacker. But he said he's down to 309, which is right around where he was when he was the NFL's 2013 Defensive Rookie of the Year.
