Jets wide receiver Stephen Hill missed practice last week with swelling in his knee, the same one that caused him to miss the remainder of last season and undergo surgery.

But following a sliding grab in the end zone during positional drills during today's OTA's, it appears Hill is just fine.

"Yeah, he’s been practicing a little bit," Mark Sanchez said. "Doing a lot of individual drills, but he’s still getting his feet under him. Getting his legs back. Getting back in the swing of things. He’s been going crazy in that weight room and the training room. He’s sick and tired of being in there and ready to get out on the field. We’re excited to get him back and we can use him."

Sanchez added: "He's just shaking off the rust a little bit, but he’s working his butt off. Anytime he gets with Coach Sanjay (Lal) on all those individual drills, he’s really starting to get more and more comfortable. I think he’s done a great job learning the system. He feels comfortable that way. He’s not one of the guys that wants to come back and ask questions. “What’s the formation? Timeout, say that again.” He’s ready to roll and that’s for a guy who didn’t do much in the offseason stuff at the beginning. He jumped right in. We plugged him right in. He’s doing great."

Hill did not go through all the team reps but did participate in some 11-on-11 activity today.
