"Cristobal Huet has heard the talk.

Whether they're discussing it on national TV, blogging from their basements or screaming from the 300 level, the veteran goaltender has heard the popular refrain that the Blackhawks can't win the Stanley Cup with him manning the net.

"That's what happens when you have a good team, you don't see any weakness and you try to point some (out)," Huet said. "(With) some you could figure it's because of playoff issues."

What kind of playoff issues?

"I never won a Cup or something like that," he said.

That's true. Huet has never won a Cup. Or a playoff series, for that matter.

But no goaltender ever won a Cup until he did it the first time. Like it or not, Huet could get that chance with the Hawks."
