Harbaugh has fingers crossed for McGahee

"There will be no official decision on running back Willis McGahee's future with the team until a salary cap is determined, according to coach John Harbaugh.

McGahee, who is scheduled to make $6 million in 2010, is expected to get cut if he doesn't agree to a salary cut. There is also a chance that McGahee could return at a reduced salary after he is released.

"Willis McGahee can play. I really like him a lot," Harbaugh said. "I think he's a good person, a hard worker. He's a leader on our team. I'm a big fan of Willis McGahee. I have my fingers crossed for a lot of guys, and he'd be one of them."

McGahee, 29, set career lows last season in carries (100) and rushing yards (380). He tied career lows in yards per carry (3.8) and rushing touchdowns (five)."
