Titans General Manager Jon Robinson will move down from the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft, and he might even do so for less than a king’s ransom.

Robinson said over the weekend that it would take a king’s ransom for him to move the top pick, and some interpreted that as a sign that the Titans aren’t interested in trading. Robinson told Adam Schefter of ESPN, however, that he is absolutely interested in trading and doesn’t want the “king’s ransom” comment to discourage teams from making an offer.

“We’d be open to moving the pick. I think the statement I made the other day maybe got taken out of context a little bit with ‘kings ransom,'” Robinson said. “The question was what would it take to move way back in the draft, which would take a lot of picks. . . I think some heard that I wasn’t open to moving, or we weren’t open to moving the pick, which is not true.”
