Hall of Fame college basketball coach Jerry Tarkanian is back in the hospital, according to a report from the Associated Press.

The 83-year-old Tarkanian, who made his name at UNLV -- winning a national title there in 1990 -- has been battling health issues in recent years. He spent 11 days last summer in the hospital, needing a pacemaker.

Quoting the coach's son, Danny, the report states Tarkanian is having respiratory issues, in addition to muscle fatigue. Tarkanian is undergoing treatment at Las Vegas' Valley Hospital. It was a year ago when Tarkanian was finally voted into the Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame after years of watching friends and colleagues stump for his inclusion.
