"Reserve center Hamed Haddadi received a qualifying offer from the Grizzlies, making him a restricted free agent this offseason.

General manager Chris Wallace announced the move today. The Griz will now have the right to match any contract offers Haddadi receives from other teams.

The qualifying offer will pay Haddadi $2 million for the 2011-12 season if he doesn't sign a new deal this summer."
