"Manager Ozzie Guillen said Wednesday that 10-time Gold Glove Award winner Andruw Jones would play the outfield most of the time when he's in the White Sox's lineup.

How much playing time Jones will get has yet to be determined, but Guillen stressed patience when assessing how much playing time he can give to Jones and infielder Omar Vizquel.

"If (Jones) is on the field, he's one of the best outfielders we have," Guillen said.

Starting Jones in the outfield could mean left fielder Juan Pierre could shift to designated hitter, a role Guillen believes he doesn't have to justify."
