Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is having a difficult time staying away from the operating room.

Gronkowski had a third surgery on his broken left arm last week, according to ESPN. The surgery was required to cure an infection in the arm, and he is still expected to be ready for camp.

Gronkowski has come under fire again this offseason for partying. He was videotaped body-slamming a friend on a Las Vegas nightclub stage during the night of the Super Bowl, and he’s been seen in other celebratory photos on the Internet, sometimes shirtless.

Gronkowski cancelled two events this week, and the surgery appears to be the reason. He was scheduled to work the red carpet at the Oscars for “The Rich Eisen Podcast” and NFL Network, and he was expected to attend an event at UConn this week.
