Rob Gronkowski recently assured reporters that he has encountered no setbacks in his surgically repaired knee, but the New England Patriots tight end has been unwilling to put a timetable on his return to game action.

According to NFL Media's Albert Breer, the goal is for Gronkowski to be on the field for the season opener at Miami.

Gronkowski's rehab has been a lot smoother than last offseason's. The Patriots aren't going to take any risks, though. Gronkowski will spend a portion of the next month rehabbing near Foxboro.
